There was no surprise when 6th ranked Rotterdam (3-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Leiden (6-2) 76-58. The game without a history. Leiden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American forward Daviyon Draper (201-94, college: FIU) who scored that evening 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Jessey Voorn (197-90, agency: Court Side) supported him with 18 points. Leiden's coach Paul Vervaeck let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by American guard La'Shard Anderson (185-89, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for Rotterdam. Forward Michael Kok (190-91) added 13 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Leiden moved-up to second place, which they share with Zwolle. Rotterdam at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Leiden's next round opponent will be Dukes UDB (#7) in Den Bosch where they are favorite. Rotterdam will play at home against Zwolle and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
