Regular Season Round 11: WKK Wroclaw - Nowa Sol 66-70

Nowa Sol's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after nine consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Wroclaw, where they defeated WKK Wroclaw (4-7) 70-66. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Wojciech Majchrzak (202-96) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Adrian Krawczyk (186-95) chipped in 19 points and 7 assists. Michal Jodlowski (206-98) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks and point guard Tomasz Jozefiak (188-93) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Nowa Sol (1-9) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. It was WKK Wroclaw's fourth loss in a row. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. Nowa Sol's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Gornik in Walbrzych and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
