The game had a very big importance for third-ranked GKK Sibenik as it allowed them to take a leadership position. GKK Sibenik smashed 12th ranked KK Skrljevo at home 88-68. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 18-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-68. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 3 other teams. KK Skrljevo at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Kvarner 2010. KK Skrljevo will play next round against strong KK Split trying to get back on the winning streak. GKK Sibenik will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Kvarner in Rijeka.
