The game in Tokyo was also quite interesting. Leader Toyota A. (13-0) played at the court of 8th ranked Haneda Vickies (2-11). Toyota A. did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 73-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Toyota A. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Toyota A. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Toyota A. made 7 blocks. Haneda Vickies were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Saki Mizushima (171-91) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. International swingman Kaede Kondo (173-91) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Toyota A. players scored in double figures. Toyota A.'s coach Don Beck used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Yuki Morimoto (177-84) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-93) added 11 points, 5 assists and 6 steals in the effort for Haneda Vickies. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Toyota A.. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with JX-Eneos S. Haneda Vickies lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. Toyota A. will have a break next round. Haneda Vickies will play again at home against the league's second-placed Toyota A. (#2) and hope to win that game.
