Regular Season Round 9: L Alfas - Cartagena 53-58

Everything could happen in Alfas Del Pi at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Cartagena and 9th ranked L Alfas had identical 1-5 record. But L Alfas was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Cartagena 58-53 on Saturday night. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Cartagena forced 20 L Alfas turnovers. Cartagena maintains eighth place in Group E with 2-5 record. Loser L Alfas keeps the ninth position with six games lost. Cartagena will face Almassera (#10) in Valencia in the next round. L Alfas will play on the road against Sagunto in Gilet and hope to win that game.
