The game in San Fernando was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Brisas (4-5) played at the court of seventh ranked Libertad SF (2-7). Libertad SF did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 87-68 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Brisas. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Paola Naranjo (183-78) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Tatiana Moyano chipped in 24 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Libertad SF players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Francisca Rojas (176-93, college: Boston Coll.) who recorded 29 points and 9 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Nisse Silva added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Libertad SF moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Sergio Ceppi. Loser Brisas keep the fifth position with five games lost. Libertad SF will meet Sergio Ceppi (#6) in the next round. Brisas will play against New Crusaders and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
