Regular Season Round 11: GKS Tychy - Biofarm PZN 71-68

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked GKS Tychy and 8th ranked Biofarm PZN had identical 5-5 record. This time GKS Tychy used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Poznan 71-68 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was swingman Hubert Mazur (190-84, agency: Promotex) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Tomasz Bzdyra (200-83) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) produced 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks and swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. GKS Tychy (6-5) moved-up to seventh place. Biofarm PZN at the other side keeps the eighth position with six games lost. GKS Tychy will face Astoria Bydg. (#15) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play at home against Nysa Klodzko (#16) and hope to win that game.
