Regular Season Round 11: Slask Wroclaw - Katy Wroclawskie 62-46

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Katy Wroclawskie (4-7) lost on the road to leader Slask (10-0) 62-46 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Slask. Katy Wroclawskie was better in third quarter 11-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Slask forced 20 Katy Wroclawskie turnovers. Point guard Jakub Musial (186-98) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Maciej Krakowczyk (200-96) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Slask's coach Dominik Tomczyk used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Center Wojciech Suprun (203-82) answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Slawomir Dzwilewski (193-84) added 12 points in the effort for Katy Wroclawskie. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Slask. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Newly promoted Katy Wroclawskie dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Slask's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Wroclaw to the arena Gimbasket WRC.
