Regular Season Round 11: Inter Bratislava - Karlovka 104-69

Very expected game when 9th ranked Karlovka (3-7) was crushed on the road by third ranked Inter Bratislava (8-3) 104-69 on Saturday. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Karlovka's 28 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Inter Bratislava looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Serbian guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Five Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. International guard Dalibor Hlivak (190-95) produced 14 points and 4 assists and center Branislav Brlit (207-85, agency: Promotex) added 4 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Inter Bratislava moved-up to second place. Karlovka lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. Inter Bratislava will meet league's leader Kosice on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Karlovka will play against Nitra (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
