Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Adareva (4-4) was outplayed on the road by second ranked Rivas Promete (6-2) 73-53 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian power forward Dovile Miliauskaite (187-89, college: Towson, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Marta Blanes (184-77) chipped in 14 points. Rivas Promete's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (170-96) produced 16 points and American forward Ty'Desheaia Pool (185, college: SE Louisiana) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Rivas Promete maintains second position in Group B with 6-2 record behind leader Aros Leon. Loser Adareva dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. Rivas Promete will face Batalyaws (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Adareva will play against C.Adelantados (#3) and hope to win that game.
