Regular Season Round 15: Fujitsu RW - Yamanashi QB 90-55

Bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 13th consecutive match to fourth ranked Fujitsu RW (11-2) 90-55. The game without a history. Fujitsu RW led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Fujitsu RW forced 21 Yamanashi QB turnovers and had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Fujitsu RW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Yamanashi QB's players. The best player for the winners was international point guard Mio Shinozaki (167-91) who scored 30 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). Center Mari Hashizume (183-92) chipped in 15 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and guard Miki Huzii (165-87) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Chanson V-M and Denso Iris. Yamanashi QB lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Fujitsu RW's next round opponent will be again bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game.
