Regular Season Round 15: JX-Eneos S. - Toyota B SR 86-36

WJBL top team - JX-Eneos S. (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Toyota B SR (5-8) in Kashiwa 86-36. The game without a history. JX-Eneos S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Toyota B SR to just 4 points in second quarter. JX-Eneos S. held Toyota B SR to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Toyota B SR 51-35 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when JX-Eneos S. made 7 blocks. 31 personal fouls committed by Toyota B SR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international forward Yuka Mamiya (185-90) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Chie Kibayashi (184-89) contributed with 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) answered with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Sakiko Nomachi (177-87) added 4 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Toyota B SR. Toyota B SR lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. JX-Eneos S. is again looking forward to face Toyota B SR (#7) in Aichi in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Toyota B SR will have a break next round.
