Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Helsingborg (2-7) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Koping (7-1) 96-74 on Sunday. The game without a history. Koping led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Helsingborg only scored four points from the stripe. Koping looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Khalil Davis (196-94, college: Austin Peay St.) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Ronald Boggs (-91) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Koping players scored in double figures. Coach Panagiotis Nikolaidis's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side center Joakim Gustafsson (206-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Erik Joelsson (196-97) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Koping moved-up to second place, which they share with Eskilstuna. Loser Helsingborg keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Koping will face Huddinge (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
