Regular Season Round 4: Fubon Braves - Bank of Taiwan 74-70

Undefeated leader Fubon Braves delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (1-5) 74-70. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 48-31 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) supported him with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Fubon Braves' coach Hang-Shu Yan allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) did not help to save the game for Bank of Taiwan. International guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) added 12 points and 4 assists for lost side. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Fubon Braves have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side dropped to the bottom place with five games lost. Fubon Braves' next round opponent will be Taiwan Beer (#5). Bank of Taiwan will play against KKL and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
