Serie A top team - Armani Milano (8-0) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Vanoli Cremona (1-7) 76-72. Vanoli Cremona was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 25-19 charge of Armani Milano, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vanoli Cremona's 38. They outrebounded Vanoli Cremona 43-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. American swingman Rakim Sanders (193-89, college: Fairfield) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian Milan Macvan (206-89) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Armani Milano's coach Jasmin Repesa used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game.
