Regular Season Round 12: Villa Angela - Hindu 85-62

An interesting game for Villa Angela (7-3) which hosted in Villa Angela top-ranked Hindu (8-3). Second ranked Villa Angela had an easy win 85-62. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Villa Angela. Hindu was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was naturalized Italian forward Mariano Garcia (201-86) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Julian Roumec (188-97) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Mauro Coronel (185-83) who recorded 9 points and 4 assists and point guard Favio Vieta Stechina (184-96) added 9 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Villa Angela keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Barrio Parque and Temperley. Hindu at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. Villa Angela's next round opponent will be again league's leader Hindu in Chaco and it will be for sure the game of the week.
