Regular Season Round 11: Djurgarden - KFUM Uppsala 111-57

Undefeated leader Djurgarden delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked KFUM Uppsala (2-6) 111-57. The game without a history. Djurgarden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Uppsala's 34 and made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded KFUM Uppsala 46-28 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Djurgarden players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. British-Nigerian Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. American power forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Djurgarden players scored in double figures. Swingman Alan Zekovic (195-98) answered with 10 points and 4 assists and guard Samuel Eliasson Godonou (185-93) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Djurgarden. Newly promoted Djurgarden maintains first place with 8-0 record. KFUM Uppsala lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. Djurgarden will play against league's second-placed AIK in Solna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KFUM Uppsala will have a break next round.
