American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (210-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds and international center Pape Faye (200-87) added 5 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Yokohama BC. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Niigata Albirex moved-up to third place, which they share with Hitachi SR. Loser Yokohama BC dropped to the fourth position with 11 games lost. Niigata Albirex will face Hitachi Sunrockers (#4) in Tokyo in the next round. Yokohama BC will play at home against the league's second-placed Sanen Neophoenix and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
