The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Correcaminos' (2-11) road loss to ninth ranked Ciudad (4-8) 90-95. Correcaminos were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 44-38 second half run of Ciudad. The winners were led by the former international power forward Arim Solares (202-83) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized American guard Justin Avalos (190-87, college: Western St.) supported him with 17 points. Four Ciudad players scored in double figures. Even 34 points (!!!) by American forward Kennedy Jones (, college: Arlington Baptist) did not help to save the game for Correcaminos. Canadian forward Grandy Glaze (204, college: Grand Canyon) added 15 points and 17 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ciudad maintains ninth position with 4-8 record. Correcaminos lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. Ciudad's next round opponent will be again bottom-ranked Correcaminos (#10) in Ciudad Victoria.
