Regular Season Round 6: Paulistano - Brasilia 74-90

Very expected game in Sao Paolo where 13th ranked Paulistano (2-3) was defeated by third ranked Brasilia (5-1) 90-74 on Thursday. Brasilia looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. International point guard Deryk Ramos (185-94) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Brasilia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Eddy Carvalho (196-87) who recorded 22 points and 5 assists and point guard George Lucas (195-96) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Brasilia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Paulistano dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Brasilia will face Pinheiros (#4) in Sao Paolo in the next round.
