A very close game took place in Orchies between Orchesien BC and Lourdes-Tarbes. Twelfth ranked Orchesien BC (6-7) got a very close home victory over 14th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (5-8). American-Dutch center Brian Freeman (206-86, college: Long Beach St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Ludovic Vaty (206-88, college: Moraine Valley CC) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Orchesien BC. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes keeps the fourteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with SAP Vaucluse. Orchesien BC will meet at home Lorient (#10) in the next round. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against Angers BC (#6) and hope to secure a win.
