Regular Season Round 10: Jiangsu TX MK - Beijing D. 100-111

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Beijing Ducks (7-3) defeated on the road 18th ranked Jiangsu TX (1-9) 111-100 on Friday. Beijing Ducks forced 19 Jiangsu TX turnovers. Strangely Jiangsu TX outrebounded Beijing Ducks 55-40 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) fired a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Stephon Marbury (188-77, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 24 points and 6 assists. Beijing Ducks' coach LuLei Min used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American power forward DeJuan Blair (201-89, college: Pittsburgh) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 24 rebounds and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) added 38 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Jiangsu TX players scored in double figures. Beijing Ducks moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Guangdong ST and Shenzhen L. Jiangsu TX lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with nine games lost. Beijing Ducks will face Jiangsu Dragons (#13) in Nanjing in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jiangsu TX will play at home against North Control (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
