Regular Season Round 12: Stal II Ostrow - WKK Wroclaw 84-36

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Stal II Ostrow (8-3) outleveled at home 10th ranked WKK Wroclaw (4-8) 84-36 on Saturday. Stal II Ostrow held WKK Wroclaw to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 54.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Stal II Ostrow forced 23 WKK Wroclaw turnovers and outrebounded them 41-15 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Lukasz Olejnik (203-79) who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. WKK Wroclaw's coach Tomasz Niedbalski gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Stal II Ostrow maintains third position with 8-3 record having four points less than leader Syntex Ksiezak, which they share with MCKiS Jaworz. and Polonia Bytom. WKK Wroclaw lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with eight games lost. Stal II Ostrow will face league's second-placed Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. WKK Wroclaw will play at home against Katy Wroclawskie (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
