Regular Season Round 12: Syntex Ksiezak - LKS MG13 Lodz 81-74

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Syntex Ksiezak as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Syntex Ksiezak defeated one of their biggest challengers LKS MG13 Lodz in Lowicz 81-74. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of LKS MG13 Lodz. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Syntex Ksiezak looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and power forward Bartlomiej Bojko (200-92) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) with 24 points and 8 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and Jacek Gwardecki (199-94) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four LKS MG13 Lodz players scored in double figures. LKS MG13 Lodz's coach Piotr Zych rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with AZS UMCS Lbn. LKS MG13 Lodz at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. LKS MG13 Lodz will play next round against AZS PS Kielce trying to get back on the winning streak. Syntex Ksiezak will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. in Bielsk Podlaski.
