Regular Season Round 12: Miedzychod - Rawia 67-71

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Rawia (7-4) defeated on the road 8th ranked Miedzychod (4-7) 71-67 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Szymon Maciolek (190-91) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Michal Wielechowski (198-94) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Lukasz Kwiatkowski (207-79) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Jaroslaw Kalinowski (180-79) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Rawia have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with AZS PGd. Loser Miedzychod keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Rawia will face Sudety (#6) in Jelenia Gora in the next round. Miedzychod will play on the road against Otmuchow and hope to win that game.
