Regular Season Round 10: Santfeliuenc - Sant Nicolau 81-69

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Santfeliuenc (5-4) beat 13th ranked Sant Nicolau (2-7) in Sant Feliu 81-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Santfeliuenc. Sant Nicolau was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Sant Nicolau 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for point guard Alberto Balboa (186-79) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Jeremy Martin (185-98) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Center Larry Ewulu (197-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and forward Marc Sobrepera (201-86) added 19 points in the effort for Sant Nicolau. Sant Nicolau's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Santfeliuenc moved-up to seventh place in Group C-A, which they share with Cornella. Loser Sant Nicolau dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Santfeliuenc will face higher ranked Arenys (#6) in Arenys del Mar in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sant Nicolau will play against Mataro (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
