Regular Season Round 18: Hiroshima D. - Kagoshima 82-63

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Dragonflies (13-4) outplayed 6th ranked Kagoshima (2-15) in Hiroshima 82-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. Dragonflies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Hiromu Kitagawa (182-91) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American-Panamanian forward Tymell Murphy (196-90, college: FIU) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-91) added 9 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Kagoshima. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Dragonflies keep a position of league leader, which they share with Nishinomiya S. and Gunma. Loser Kagoshima keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost. Dragonflies will face again Kagoshima (#6) in Renova in the next round where they are favorite.
