Very important is a home loss of third ranked Cybots (3-2) against sixth ranked Shockers (3-2) on Saturday night. Host Cybots were crushed by Shockers in 113-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cybots. Shockers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Cybots' 40. Shockers forced 26 Cybots turnovers and outrebounded them 57-41 including 26 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Cybots' players. Shockers brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. The winners were led by Salathiel Dean who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Kamal Murphy supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Shockers players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points, 17 rebounds and 6 blocks by center Livingston Munnings did not help to save the game for Cybots. Terrance Brown added 21 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shockers moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Cybots. Shockers will play against league's leader Giants in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cybots will play against the Bahamas (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
