Regular Season Round 18: Bambitious Nara - Toyotsu FE 82-99

An interesting game for Toyotsu FE (14-3) which played road game in Nara against 4th ranked Bambitious Nara (6-11). First ranked Toyotsu FE had an easy win 99-82. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning next two quarters and won the game by 17 points. Toyotsu FE made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. American forward Rodney Carney (201-84, college: Memphis) notched 23 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Yuto Otsuka (188-90) supported him with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Toyotsu FE players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds by American forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia) did not help to save the game for Bambitious Nara. Forward Daiki Terashita (190-80) added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Toyotsu FE maintains first position with 14-3 record. Bambitious Nara at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Shinshu BW. Toyotsu FE will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bambitious Nara will play again against the league's leader Toyotsu FE (#1) and hope to secure a win.
