Regular Season Round 3: Kanazawa Sam. - Tokyo HT 70-80

Rather expected game when Kanazawa Sam. (2-2) lost to Tokyo HT (5-1) in Ishikawa 70-80 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for point guard Yusuke Ikeda (180-88) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (201-89, college: Texas St.) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kanazawa Sam.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kanazawa Sam.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo HT will face Fukuoka Rizing at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kanazawa Sam. will play against Otsuka A. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
