Very important is a road loss of third ranked C.Adelantados (5-3) against ninth ranked Adareva (5-4) on Saturday night. Visiting C.Adelantados was edged by Adareva in a tough game in SC Laguna 65-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of C.Adelantados. C.Adelantados was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 12-8 charge of Adareva, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Ty'Desheaia Pool (185, college: SE Louisiana) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and forward Eva Serra (183-83) chipped in 18 points. The best for the losing side was American guard Tyonna Outland (173-92, college: CSU Bakersfield) with 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Alba Pena (177-95) scored 18 points and 4 steals. Four C.Adelantados players scored in double figures. Adareva moved-up to sixth place in Group B, which they share with Estudiantes and Promete. C.Adelantados at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Adareva will play against Valencia (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. C.Adelantados will play against Batalyaws (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
