Regular Season Round 10: BSEU-GrandPrint - COR-Borisfen 74-108

Premier League top team - COR-Borisfen (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (2-6) in Minsk 108-74. The game was mostly controlled by COR-Borisfen. BSEU-GrandPrint was better in fourth quarter 27-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. COR-Borisfen forced 21 BSEU-GrandPrint turnovers and outrebounded them 47-36 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. German point guard Vytautas Kamarunas (178-89) scored 24 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four COR-Borisfen players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Vitaliy Lebedev (200-99) responded with 22 points and 5 steals and guard Valentin Nazarov (185-97) scored 6 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. COR-Borisfen have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record, which they share with Grodno-93 and Tsmoki II. BSEU-GrandPrint lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with six games lost. COR-Borisfen will play against bottom-ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#9) in Gomel in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BSEU-GrandPrint will have a break next round.
