Very predictable result when eleventh ranked Sangiorgese (4-5) edged on the road bottom-ranked Firenze Enic (0-9) 69-68 on Saturday. It was a good game for forward Daniele Mario Benzoni (196-80) who saved his team from a defeat with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Alessandro Priuli (200-86, agency: Players Group) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Sangiorgese's coach Massimo Padovano used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Diego Terenzi (191-95) answered with 11 points and point guard Michele Magini (185-88) added 7 points and 5 assists in the effort for Firenze Enic. Sangiorgese moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Vicenza and Volpino AltoSeb. Newly promoted Firenze Enic still closes the standings with nine games lost. Sangiorgese will face higher ranked Piombino (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
