Regular Season Round 11: Prat - Castello 84-101

An interesting game took place in Prat where higher ranked CB Prat (4-7) was upset on its own court by sixteenth ranked Castello (3-7) 101-84 on Saturday. The game without a history. Castello led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Castello especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was a great evening for American forward Kyle Cooper (201-93, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Borja Arevalo (195-91) helped adding 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Arevalo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Pep Ortega (201-84) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Xabier Lopez (198-97) scored 21 points. Four Castello and five CB Prat players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Castello moved-up to fifteenth place. Loser CB Prat keeps the twelfth position with seven games lost. Castello will face Magia Huesca (#16) at home in the next round.
