Regular Season Round 9: Sigal Prishtina - Peja 74-58

Undefeated Peja (6-1) recorded its first loss on the court of third ranked Sigal Prishtina. Visitors were defeated by Sigal Prishtina 74-58. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Peja. Peja was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 43-26 second half run of Sigal Prishtina. They also forced 27 Peja turnovers. It was a good game for FYR Macedonian power forward Bojan Trajkovski (208-88, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 9 rebounds. American-Dominican M.J. Rhett (206-92, college: Mississippi) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Sigal Prishtina players scored in double figures. American point guard Cameron Rundles (188-88, college: Wofford) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) and the other American import forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Peja. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sigal Prishtina (6-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains third place behind leader Bashkimi. Peja at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Sigal Prishtina's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Prishtina to the arena Kerasan.
