Regular Season Round 13: CFBB - St Vallier 70-85

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-13) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 13th consecutive match to sixth ranked Saint Vallier (8-5) 85-70. It looked good early as CFBB took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Saint Vallier had a 24-15 second period charge getting the lead and CFBB was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-85. Saint Vallier players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Guard Jesse Delhomme (189-85) nailed 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Vincent Ateba (195-85, college: Missouri So.) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Yanik Blanc (184-99) came up with 18 points and forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) added 14 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saint Vallier moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Caen. CFBB lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Saint Vallier will play against Gries/Oberhoffen (#16) in Bischwiller in the next round which should be an easy win for them. CFBB will play on the road against Union Rennes and hopes to get finally their first victory.
