Very predictable result when fourth ranked Venezia (7-1) defeated on the road 10th ranked Vigarano (2-6) 66-56 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Venezia. Vigarano managed to win fourth quarter 20-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Venezia forced 22 Vigarano turnovers. The best player for the winners was American-Romanian power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Debora Carangelo (169-92) chipped in 15 points. Venezia's coach Andrea Liberalotto used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Amber Orrange (170-93, college: Stanford, agency: LBM Management) produced 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and American-Lithuanian forward Sofija Aleksandravicius (196-91, college: Davidson, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Venezia moved-up to second place, which they share with San Martino and Lucca. Loser Vigarano dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Broni and Umbertide.
