Regular Season Round 9: Reggio Emilia - Crema 62-69

Very expected game when 12th ranked Reggio Emilia (3-6) lost at home to sixth ranked Crema (6-3) 69-62 on Sunday. Reggio Emilia was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Davide Liberati (190-91, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 4 assists. Center Davide Bozzetto (207-89, agency: Players Group) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Federico Pugi (206-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Luca Bertolini (175-85) added 14 points in the effort for Reggio Emilia. Crema have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Cento. Newly promoted Reggio Emilia dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Crema will face league's second-placed Bergamo on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Reggio Emilia will play against Lecco (#6) and hope to win that game.
