There was no surprise when 10th ranked Sevilla (3-6) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Valencia Basket (6-3) 66-56 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-56. Valencia Basket forced 20 Sevilla turnovers. The former international guard Rafael Martinez (190-82) fired 23 points for the winners. The former international swingman Fernando San Emeterio (199-84) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. Valencia Basket's coach Pedro Martinez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
