Regular Season Round 19: Hiroshima D. - Kagoshima 87-58

Very expected game in Hiroshima where 6th ranked Kagoshima (2-16) was crushed by second ranked Dragonflies (14-4) 87-58 on Sunday. The game without a history. Dragonflies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for guard Seiya Tanaka (186-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. Senegalese center Aziz N'Diaye (213-88, college: Washington) helped adding 12 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American-Panamanian forward Tymell Murphy (196-90, college: FIU) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies keep a position of league leader, which they share with Nishinomiya S. and Gunma. Loser Kagoshima keeps the sixth place with 16 games lost. Dragonflies will face league's leader Kumamoto V. on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kagoshima will play against Shimane Magic (#3) and hope to win that game.
