Regular Season Round 12: Gimbasket WRC - Slask Wroclaw 61-73

Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Wroclaw: Slask (#1) and Gimbasket WRC (#5). Gimbasket WRC was defeated at home 61-73 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Gimbasket WRC was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jakub Musial (186-98) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and power forward Aleksander Dziewa (206-97) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and forward Przemyslaw Gworek (195-90) scored 20 points. Gimbasket WRC's coach Robert Kosciuk let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Slask (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Loser Gimbasket WRC keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Slask will face Kalisz (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
