Regular Season Round 10: Quart - Andorra II 97-66

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Quart (7-2) outplayed at home 12th ranked Andorra II (2-7) 97-66 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Quart. Andorra II was better in third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Quart forced 29 Andorra II turnovers. It was a very good performance for guard Eric Jimenez (190-90) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. American-Uruguayan center Brad Kanis (218-83, college: Grand Canyon, agency: Gamble Sports Management) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Quart players scored in double figures. Center Cinto Gabriel (199-87) replied with 19 points and Nil Bria (195-97) added 12 points in the effort for Andorra II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Quart keeps a position of Group C-B leader, which they share with Palma II and Pardinyes-L. Loser Andorra II dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost. Quart will face Sitges (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Andorra II will play against Barbera and hope to win that game.
