Regular Season Round 12: Rosa III Radom - Start Lublin II 66-73

There was a minor upset when 12th ranked Rosa III Radom (1-10) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked Start Lublin II (2-10) 73-66 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Michal Jankowski (191-87) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and forward Bartosz Ciechocinski (203-91) who added 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Filip Kolakowski (189-97) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Wojciech Watroba (210-97) scored 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Rosa III Radom's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Start Lublin II moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with AZS PP. Rosa III Radom lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Start Lublin II will face higher ranked Stal SW (#5) in Stalowa Wola in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rosa III Radom will play on the road against Zubry (#9) in Bialystok and hope to win that game.
