Everything went according to plan when second ranked Treviso Basket (7-2) outscored on the road 11th ranked Chieti (3-6) 79-54 on Sunday. They outrebounded Chieti 39-24 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Treviso Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. American forward Jesse Perry (200-89, college: Arizona) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and center Andrea Ancellotti (212-88) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Treviso Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Trae Golden (188-91, college: Georgia Tech) with 15 points and the other American import swingman Cade Davis (197-88, college: Oklahoma, agency: Two Points) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Treviso Basket maintains second place in A2 with 7-2 record behind leader Angelico Biella. Loser Chieti dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost. Treviso Basket will face Ravenna (#5) at home in the next round. Chieti will play against Roseto (#4) and hope to win that game.
