Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Santurtzi (5-3) defeated on the road 8th ranked Zarautz Ulacia (3-5) 66-49 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Santurtzi. Zarautz Ulacia was better in second period 16-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Santurtzi made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for forward Mikel Sainz (195-95) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks.
