Very important is a road loss of third ranked Raholan Pyrkiva (6-3) against thirteenth ranked Namika Lr (1-9) on Sunday night. Visiting Raholan Pyrkiva was edged by Namika Lr in a tough game in Lappeenranta 71-74. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for swingman Anttoni Tapio (193-92) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Karo Puittinen (191-99) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Tommi Rasi (184-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and guard Lauri Tiainen (193-90) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Raholan Pyrkiva. Namika Lr maintains thirteenth place in Division with 1-9 record. Loser Raholan Pyrkiva dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Namika Lr will face higher ranked Munkkiniemen (#12) in Helsinki in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
