The most exciting game of round 9 in the Serie A2 took place in Ferrara. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked Bondi Ferrara (4-5) to fourth ranked F.Kontatto BO (6-3) 87-85 on Sunday evening. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. F.Kontatto BO's coach Matteo Boniciolli used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Riccardo Cortese (195-86) with 21 points and 5 assists and American forward Laurence Bowers (203-90, college: Missouri) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Four Bondi Ferrara players scored in double figures. F.Kontatto BO moved-up to third place in A2. Bondi Ferrara at the other side dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. F.Kontatto BO are looking forward to face Imola (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bondi Ferrara will play against Jesi and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
