Regular Season Round 9: Cefalu - Roma S.Azzurra 96-71

There was a small surprise when fifteenth ranked Cefalu (2-6) rolled over at home 12th ranked Roma S.Azzurra (2-7) 96-71 on Sunday. Cefalu forced 21 Roma S.Azzurra turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Roma S.Azzurra's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cefalu made 7 blocks. It was a good game for naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (180-83, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 4 assists. Power forward Riccardo Malagoli (209-88) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Cefalu players scored in double figures. Coach Fabio Nardone's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games.
