Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Hapoel Jerusalem and 8th ranked Maccabi Haifa had identical 3-4 record. This time Hapoel Jerusalem used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Haifa 93-71 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Jerusalem. Hapoel Jerusalem (4-4) moved-up to sixth place. Loser Maccabi Haifa dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Hapoel Jerusalem will meet at home league's second-placed Maccabi Rishon in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Maccabi Haifa will play against the league's leader Maccabi T-A (#1) and hope to secure a win.
