Regular Season Round 10: Martorell - Castellbisbal 68-77

There was a small surprise when fifth ranked Castellbisbal (6-3) defeated on the road much higher ranked Martorell (6-3) 77-68 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 45-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Martorell was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for center Gerard Galbete (204-88) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Felix Lopez (190-85) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Center Marc Bernadi (205-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard David Jofresa (185-95) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Martorell. Four Martorell players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Castellbisbal have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group C-A, which they share with Martorell and AEC Collblanc. Castellbisbal will face league's leader Menorca in Mahon in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Martorell will play on the road against Salt and hope to win that game.
